Just a quick explanation of who I am, I was born near a city but my grandpa had a nice little farm where i spent a lot of summers helping him. Helping him really set a the seed in my heart to have my own farm some day. I went to trade school for electrical and got a job at a steel mill. I did enjoy that job but it actually distracted me from my dream of having my own Homestead. It wasn’t until I got a job at a power plant outside the city that it all changed. Me and my parents moved from the city and built on the same property and haven’t looked back. But every thing changes for the better or worst, The plant was shut down and I was moved into something else within the company but the drive is considerably longer. So i decided I wanted out, and started this website to change that. I am very DIY oriented and wanted to share my passion for the Homesteading and every DIY project that I do. My wife and I built our own home here on the homestead and learned a lot and wanted to share different tips and trick we learned along the way so maybe it will help you too.
